 | | Best wishes for this new year: 2007 | | | | 2006 brought about a lot of maturity to this Health and Media initaitive with the increased popularity of the Health and Media website and membership growth of this accompanying update. 2007 starts with two more regional courses... | |

...one in country regional course in Malaysia and the other in the Caribbean (Barbados). You'll hear more in the coming weeks. I will also be looking forward to our first listserv members signing up from the Caribbean region.
I did mean to get this update out a few days earlier but time seems to fly around the December holiday season. Everyone seems to be away from work - both body and mind. Did you have a good year in 2006? Any resolutions for this year? I hope to develop some new ideas on how we can further take advantage of our network of listserv members - I'll let you know what I'm "cooking up" as soon as I get something in the works.
Thanks to those of you who sent in your contributions and comments to both the website and the listserv in the last couple of weeks... and thanks to Cameroonian TV journalist, Tikum Azonga, who sent in a sample copy of his new book "Say No To AIDS". A collection of his Poems on HIV/AIDS. You can find out more and read one of his poems on the Health and Media website: click here
Keep sending your emails in and let me know if you win that "Excellence in Global Media Award", and don't forget to send in a few relevant pictures to brighten up the website and this update... anything to do with your work will probably be of interest. |
